Senior Garment Technologist

Our client is a very reputable long established company who work with very stable successful retailers in UK and Internationally supplying multi product including jerseywear, outerwear and knitwear.

They are currently looking for a Senior Garment Technologist to join their established technical team.

The role will involve:

• Overseeing the end to end quality of fit and construction, maintaining required quality levels.
• Creation of accurate garment construction for seasonal collections
• Support Development and Technical Manager
• Attend fit meeting with customers and ensure fit and construction is in line with customer requirements
• Participate in pre-production fittings and management of comments and size charts to pattern and production teams.
• To effectively communicate technical requirements and changes to internal teams during collection pre-production stage.
• To participate in the development of prototype samples
• Far East travel will be required
• Management of fit meetings to achieve required critical path.
• Management of sealing process for production handover.

This is a fantastic role for a well established garment technologist who has worked in a fast paced fashion related role for a retail head office or supplier.
