We are working with a leading home decor company to recruit a Digital Marketing Assistant for their marketing team.
Do you naturally immerse yourself in social media, have a desire to be creative and the drive to successfully engage an audience? They are looking for someone who preferably has an education in digital marketing, who lives & breathes social media, loves being creative through analysing trends, applying strategy & delivering inspiring imagery & stories to an audience.
The portfolio consists of multiple home textiles brands available across wide variety of retailers. The ideal candidate will be required to immerse themselves in both existing social communities & new future brands which will require building brand awareness from scratch.
SOCIAL MEDIA – Instagram / Facebook / Twitter / Tik Tok / Pinterest
Have a strong knowledge of all social media platforms.
Social media management across in-house brands social media platforms; Instagram as main platform.
Be strong at content creation for social media e.g. graphics, stories, tiktoks/reels etc.
Write engaging and creative copy for social media and ecommerce purposes.
Be able to switch tone of voice for each brand.
Forward plan content.
Capture behind the scene content at professional photography studio during official brand photography.
Use scheduling software Hootsuite to schedule posts.
Work with a close-knit team to generate fresh ideas on a weekly basis.
Lead monthly social media catch up meetings with senior members of management.
Reach out to influencers/management and secure social media exposure.
Reach out to content creators to work with.
Conduct research tasks & competitor analysis and present them.
Be confident in staying up to date with current social media trends.
Have photography knowledge/skills.
Work well in a team but be confident, self-motivated, and driven when working alone.
Have knowledge or be willing to learn current home décor trends.
Have experience using Adobe software; Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator
Assist E-commerce Manager in various other tasks if required.
SKILLS
Preferably a related degree in digital/social marketing
Understanding of the social media landscape
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Self motivated
Extremely organised
Creative visual skills –work alongside creative visual team to shoot additional social content, videos, stills videos
Advanced MS Office skills – including Excel, Powerpoint
Ability to analyse data, identify trends to inform future strategy
Pro-active attitude
Willing to work outside of normal 9-5 hours
Be curious
Agile
Ability to “speak in different voices” tailoring the approach to fit each brands identity & successfully engage the right audience
