We have a fantastic new role for a leading consumer goods company!
Its a fast track role to Account Management with very strong progression opportunites!
To support the Category /Account Manager and focus on customers’ critical path deadlines and sales analysis. You will assist the Category /Account Manager with inputting supplier information, chasing quotes and information from their China Office and ensuring that accurate product information is available. You will maintain the critical path on a daily basis and update directly with customers.
You will be a person who is looking to build a career and is willing to learn through training and experience. Self-driven with a results orientated and positive outlook, you must be a good communicator with excellent organisational skills. A team player, you will integrate easily with the different groups of people who make up the business teams. You will be punctual, reliable, well presented, a good company ambassador and flexible in your approach to work.
Key Accountabilities
- Assistant to Category / Account Managers with process driven administration at the core of your work
- To maintain buying timelines for critical path management for Key Account customer needs
- Administrating key updates to customer portals and order management /processing
- Reporting to the Category/Account Manager and providing support to the Directors
- To manage communication between China and the UK and to deliver accurate information to the different departments in the business
- To input product information to Microsoft templates and D365 (in house ERP system) and to keep the information up to date
- Sales analysis /Order management
Critical Skills/Knowledge
- To provide support and information to the Category /Account Manager is a precise and methodical way to ensure all customer data and communication is kept up to date
- To produce and maintain the critical path for the production of the KA customer products and timelines, liaising with factories, retailers and internal colleagues
- To ensure the information needed to maintain the critical path is received from factories/China office and recorded internally in an effective and easy to follow format
- Work closely with the QC and Marketing Departments to ensure the customer critical path is met
- Administration of order management and sales analysis both within the KA team and wider business
- Must be commercially aware with a willingness to learn about new technologies and trends within the lighting industry
Skills
- A thorough administrator with excellent attention to detail with accuracy in all areas at all times
- Excellent at problem solving and a solution driven individual
- Excellent people and communication skills – must be able to communicate at any level both internally and with customers
- Accurate and reliable data entry
- Good IT skills – excellent knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products required. Training will be given for all in house systems
- Good Literacy and Numeracy skills
