Our client is a well-established high quality brand in both UK and Internationally.
They are expanding due to successful company growth and they have the opportunity for a Sales Account Manager to join the team.
The role will involved working on their established high street retailer/supermarket accounts across homeware product.
The role will involve:
- Set and manage sales budgets with Commercial and Marketing Directors
- Complete monthly sales forecasts accurately and within agreed time scales
- Monitor target sales and meet set margin levels with each customer
- Manage customer stocks levels within agreed company targets
- Liaise and communicate with sales admin for the day to day running with each customer
- Attend trade fairs both in U.K and overseas when requested
- Accompany customers on overseas travel for factory/supplier visits
- Organise regular appointments and set agenda’s for meetings with customers both on and off site
- Visit stores and regularly comp shop giving feed back to Commercial Managers and Directors on customer and competitor activity in the market place
- Provide feed back on all product offers put forward to customers Target and report on core product areas for each customer. Inform management of size of business, TBG share of business.
- Organise a critical path by customer for all new and carry over new season designs
- Organise design development diary for carry over and all new designs for forthcoming season sales Ensure Admin and Design are kept up to date with Design/Customer development briefs
- Oversee and ensure customer key dates are met for lab dip, strike off and samples etc with design
- Liaise with Admin/ Studio when developing new packaging briefs with customers
This position would suit a pro-active experienced sales account manager, with strong commercial experience, who has dealt with high street retailers/supermarkets - preferably on homewares although other product knowledge may be considered.
