Description
The role will involve supporting the Merchandising team with administrative support in the planning, trading and maximising product sales in line with the Merchandising and business strategy.
What the role will involve:
- Create and distribute weekly and monthly reports of sales and stock figures to support management decision making and forward planning
- Update and key price changes and promotions on the system and communicate to Retail teams
- Ensure sales data is collated and uploaded onto the system in a timely manner
- Ensure seasonal and in season orders on the system are raised
- Assist Assistant Merchandisers in identifying supply chain issues and dealing with problems or delays as they arise
Stock Allocation:
- Enter stock onto the system to ensure appropriate quantities of stock are allocated to stores in line with the seasonal Merchandising strategy
- Action authorised allocation adjustments and make recommendations in line with the theme calendar to include events, seasonal trends, etc
Stock Maintenance:
- Maintain minimum credible display stock levels in line with the MDQs and store grading
- Assist Assistant Merchandisers in ensuring that stores are turning on appropriate cover and that the stock is in the right place for sales including promotions and incentives
- Proactively monitor new store stock levels and work with colleagues in Merchandising and Retail teams to formulate recommendations for adjustments and reallocations as appropriate
- Ensure all stock movements are managed and processed onto the system in line with Merchandisers instruction
- Respond to all stock queries from other areas
- Conduct ad-hoc store / stock reporting, as required

- Education to GCSE level or equivalent including a Grade C GCSE in Maths
