Description
We are working with a large reputable home decor company who are currently recruiting a head the communications for a world leading soft textiles business.
They are looking for someone with experience in building, implementing, and measuring communications and marketing strategies for a dynamic and fast-moving business. Someone to drive our corporate and brand image through consistent messaging and clear strategy.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for leading the creative marketing and communications across the company.
- You will plan, develop, implement, and measure the marketing and communications strategies, PR activities for both the companies’ brands and at a corporate level, both internally and externally.
- You will create and manage copy for corporate and individual brands. For use in areas such as websites, social media etc.
- You will oversee all creative design and implementation of campaigns.
- Work collaboratively with the e-commerce, design, visual merchandising and graphics teams.
- You will support the professional development of the small marketing team, inspiring and motivating staff to deliver high quality outcomes.
- You will oversee and manage the strategy for all social media content, including social trends and search engine optimisation.
- You will manage the marketing and communications budget and ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- You will create marketing presentations for stakeholders.
- You will review and advise on marketing proposals sent from external sources i.e. retail partners, ad companies, brand collaborations.
- You will oversee communication with media, influencers and beyond to ensure placement and visibility of our products on national and global level.
- Represent the company at any press related events.
- Direct report of 1 Digital Marketing Executive.
Requirements
- Degree qualification, preferably in Marketing, Communications or Journalism
- 3+ years working experience within a communications or marketing function
- Good knowledge of Creative Cloud / Photoshop, Illustrator & In Design
- Proven success designing and executing marketing and communications strategies and campaigns
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- High level of visual literacy and a passion for fashion and design
- Sophisticated organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
