Description
We have a fantastic new role for a Data Analyst to join a large long established International retailer.
The role of Product Data Analyst is accountable to discover the information hidden in their vast amounts of data, which will enable the Brand Directors to make smarter decisions across an omni channel global business.
To access invaluable insights into our own and our competitor’s business.
- The Product Data Analyst will need to be accountable for calculating the Brand’s KPI on value, volume & range size, margin performance for previous mirror season and target for future season(s)
- The Product Data Analyst works with cross functional teams in order to drive, communicate and transfer knowledge and information in order to create commercial, innovative and cohesive product ranges in line with the Brand strategy.
Deliverables:
- Continually develop understanding of UK and European market, customer, consumer, competitors, distribution strategies and price positioning
- Understand commercial input through communication with sales teams, customers and consumers and data evaluation to deliver correct product mix.
Analysis
- Work closely with merchandising to balance range growth, structure, price point, model and colour count, delivering on KPI’s.
- Perform deep dive analytics within a fast-paced and exciting function.
- Interpret and analyse data using exploratory mathematic and statistical techniques, to drive business decisions and profitability.
- Identify business opportunities using data to propose solutions that will aid decision making.
- Create clear reports that tell compelling stories about how customers work with the business and determine product needs.
- Strong communication and clear identification of possible actions based upon insight.
- Ensure data is accurate, formatted and presented at the right level during key meetings, keeping key stakeholders informed
- Work with the Panorama team to drive BI integration forwards on the product team
Range Planning
- Feed information to the Product Manager to maximise range efficiency.
- Work with the Brand Directors to adapt strategy as necessary based on strategic business decisions.
- Prepare monthly KPI reports to present to Board Directors.
- Work alongside planning to ensure that the range is being delivered at the right place at the right time through stock analysis at
